Are you an Expatriate? Being abroad, it’s always good to know that there's an organization out here to help in times of distress and need ~ The Embassy. This post lists out the various foreign embassies present in Saudi Arabia, check out where yours is located!

Most expatriates don’t know of the services their embassies offer. Although it is not imperative to register with one in a foreign land, it is always a prudent thing to be aware of the services one’s embassy can offer. The embassy plays an important role in strengthening the bilateral relations between your country and Saudi Arabia and to primarily ensure the welfare of its nationals. You being one of them!

If you ever find yourself in trouble or in need of assistance, your Embassy might just be the right place for help. After all, the Embassy is the intermediary connection point between the expatriate and the home land in crisis situations. These organizations serve their expatriate community in matters concerning passports, notarization, issuance of certificates, travel advice/warnings, visa advice, and immigration and labor issues.

P.S: Always keep copies of your contract, passport and iqama with you.

Most of the foreign embassies are located at the Diplomatic Quarters in Riyadh. The Diplomatic Quarter or DQ as it is popularly known as, is a highly secured place situated along the edge of the town in western Riyadh and is home to most of the ambassador’s houses. Although the embassies are located only in the capital city of Saudi Arabia i.e Riyadh, There will be a consulate general who is a representative of the embassy in locales outside of the capital city such as in Jeddah.
